International Risk Management Conference 2026 | Warsaw, June 22-23, 2026 | Call for Papers – Submission Deadline: March 31, 2026

The Risk Banking and Finance Society, in collaboration with the IRMC permanent organizers, the University of Florence and NYU-Stern Finance Department, the co-organizer JRC-European Commission, and this year’s host institution University of Warsaw, invite you to join the 19th edition of the International Risk Management Conference from June 22-23, 2026 (Warsaw, Poland). The conference will bring together leading experts from various academic disciplines and professionals for a two-day conference. We welcome theoretical, methodological, and empirical contributions that address contemporary challenges and innovations in risk management, banking, and finance.

Publication opportunities:

Selected Papers – The Review of Asset Pricing Studies (Q1-Scimago Ranking; 3* ABS Ranking)

Executive editor: Zhiguo He (Stanford University)

The Review of Asset Pricing Studies will publish selected papers considered through a dual submission process. A paper is eligible for the dual submission option if it has not been previously rejected from RAPS and if the paper is not currently under review at another journal. Dual-submitted papers will undergo the standard review process for inclusion on the IRMC conference program and the regular review process of RAPS.

Selected Papers – Journal of Corporate Finance (Q1-Scimago Ranking; 4* ABS Ranking)

Editor in-chief: Heitor Almeida (University of Illinois)

The editor of the Journal of Corporate Finance, Heitor Almeida, will be selecting a few papers from those presented to the conference, for potential publication in the JCF. The papers will be invited for journal submission and will undergo the regular JCF review process.

Special issue of Journal of Credit Risk

Editors in chief: Jens Hilscher and Linda Allen

The JCR will publish a special issue devoted to IRMC2026. Authors of papers presented at IRMC2026 are invited to submit their papers to this special issue. The submission deadline will be subsequently to the conference.

Selected Papers on Journal of Banking and Financial Economics (JBFE)

Editor in Chief: Malgorzata Olszak (University of Warsaw)

Guest Editors: Jacek Jastrzębski (University of Warsaw; Chairman of the Polish Financial Supervisory Authority, KNF) and Katarzyna Niewińska (University of Warsaw).

Papers presented at IRMC could be considered for submission in a regular issue of JBFE.

Conference Submission:

Full papers must be submitted by March 31, 2026. The accepted full papers will be presented in parallel sessions. Final minor revisions are acceptable. A maximum of two papers per person can be submitted but only one paper, if accepted, will be listed for presentation in the parallel sessions.

Abstract submission will entitle presenter to participate in the Poster Session only.
