AimsIn June 2007 the Italian Association of Scholars of Economics and Management of Financial Institutions and Markets (ADEIMF - Associazione dei Docenti di Economia degli Intermediari e dei Mercati Finanziari) launched a new Economics and Management of Financial Intermediation Working Paper Series (EMFI WPS). The EMFI WPS aims to promote and ensure the rapid diffusion of high quality research in the field of economics and management of financial intermediation. Papers must be written in English and are subjected to a double-blind peer review process. Papers are available exclusively on line. Editorial PolicyThe EMFI WPS publishes high quality research ranging over all areas of financial intermediation and financial markets, adopting diverse analytical approaches and referring to a national or international context. Authors are required to state clearly the theoretical approach followed, and to argue explicitly for the relevance and the practical implications of the results obtained. Papers must comprise an empirical analysis section. All empirical methods – including , but not limited to, qualitative, quantitative, field, laboratory and combined methods – are welcome. Papers lacking empirical analysis will be considered for review on condition that they seek to provide relevant theoretical advancements. Papers will be evaluated in terms of originality, relevance for practise and rigour in methodology. Rejoinders on previously published research will be evaluated according to the above rules. Papers submitted should not previously have been accepted or published in other journals or wp-series which use the double-blind peer review process. Draft papers will not be considered. The Advisory Board and Editorial board are committed to a careful, supportive and rapid double-blind peer review process. |
